Come Wind searches for fan funding

Canton, Ohio’s, Come Wind is searching for support from the loyal fan base as they head toward their first full-length release.

The first show we ever played was a small gathering in the space we practiced in at the time. We invited a few friends over to hear the first five songs we had written – the only five songs we had written, at that point – to tell us what they thought of them. We asked those friends to bring a friend. We only expected about 15 people, but when the night came around, there were around 40 present. We were blown away. We had no idea people would support us. We had no idea people would care. We were honored and humbled. We’ll never forget that first night.

Since that very first show, you all have shown your support to us in many incredible ways. We’ve travelled across the country and heard you all singing our songs at each town we stopped in. You watched our videos, bought our albums and shirts, and went out of your way to support us with everything we’ve done. We are still incredibly honored, and incredibly humbled.

Over the past year or so, many changes have come about for Come Wind. Through it all, we’ve continued to work together, and write together, and we finally have a batch of songs that we feel good enough about to make into an album. So, like we did for our first show, we’re coming to you, and asking for support. We’ve been an independent band from the beginning, and we have relied directly on fan support from day one. We are asking for that support now. Please watch this video to learn more about how you can help us now, in our time of greatest need. We’re ready to make our first full length, but we need you to be a part of it to do so.
