Lauren is the Man!

The above slogan is borrowed from a favourite t-shirt from Lauren Mann and the Fairly Odd Folk. Why is Lauren the Man? Because LMATFOF are the winner of the 2014 CBC Searchlight competition – the hunt for Canada’s best new artist. With a total of 4576 entries, CBC had calculated the odds of winning at a minuscule 1/50 of 1 percent. One of the hardest working bands in this country, Lauren is supported by her crew of Zoltan, Hammer, Jay, Jessica, and Josh. “I Lost Myself” was their winning song and there’s no doubt that Canadians will be hearing a lot more of this great tune in the coming months.
