Mayfly disbands

Ohio’s alt metal foursome, Mayfly, have suddenly announced the end of the band.

Mayfly has decided to disband for reasons we prefer not to disclose.  We apologize to anyone who was looking forward to a new album from us, but our time has definitely come to an end.  With that being said, we’d like to thank everyone who has supported this band over the past few years.  It is our hope that after listening to our music or going to one of our shows that you walked away with something more than just entertainment.  We also thank God for the opportunities and adventures we’ve had over the course of this band’s existence.  At this point in time we have no plans for a farewell show, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be one.  Let us know if you’d like to see us perform one last time.  Also, we will keep you updated on any musical projects we may be a part of in the future.  Remember that your life is a vapor that appears for a moment and then vanishes away.  Don’t let it go to waste.  Reach for the sky!
