Run River North set to release sophomore album

Run River North, formerly known as Monsters Call Home, became famous to a wide audience in 2012. After recording a music video in their Honda Fit, the car company decided a pull a prank on the band. After arriving to perform a set in front of Honda executives, the band was told the gig was off, but they had a surprise … the company had arranged for the band to be that evening’s music guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Their upcoming album, Drinking From a Salt Pond, is a significant departure from their typical laid back style. The new release finds Run River North delivering a more energetic vibe than their debut self-titled album. It’s roof raising sound and solid vocals are sure to draw even greater numbers to their outstanding live shows.
