All Hail The King – More Love More Power: Fundraiser for Skip Brooks’ Family review

After a year long battle with cancer, Pastor “Skip” Brooks passed away November 25, 2018 at the age of 47. Serving the Lord was the entirety of Skip’s being. His passion for music found him performing in many bands, covering a multitude of genres. The Resistors, Shift Seven, Kapsized, Our Corpse Destroyed (OCD), and Crush The Enemy. Christian ministry had him serving as pastor of San Antonio’s Rise Above Ministries.

Skip’s passing has left his wife and boys mourning his passing. It has also left the family with the struggle to pay medical bills and funeral expenses. That’s were music comes to the rescue. Sometimes a music release’s purpose can be greater than the songs. All Hail The King, the worship team at Rise Above Ministries, delivers six punked up hymns on More Love More Power: Fundraiser for Skip Brooks’ Family. These amped up hymns epitomize Skip’s heart, blending punk into the Message in a powerful way.
