A few weeks ago I met up with Newworldson. This Niagara region based band offers up an eclectic mix of styles, using a blend of soul, pop, reggae, gospel and jazz, but the particular emphasis of Newworldson’s music is soul. Joel Parisien, keyboardist and lead vocalist of Newworldson, spent some time with The Antidote to share his thoughts on the effectiveness of Christian music in today’s culture.
