Hotel Books evolves on “Run Wild, Stay Alive”

It’s only a few days away from the latest album, Run Wild, Stay Alive from Hotel Books, releasing June 3 through Invogue Records.

It’s still uncertain whether this follow-up to the 2015 Run Wild, Young Beauty will usher in a new sound for Hotel Books. The two initial tracks offered from the upcoming release, “Where We Sleep Is Where We Dream” and “Every Day, the Same”, offer a distinct post-hardcore sound along with lyrics which are sung. This could prove to be a dramatic change for this predominately spoken word artist, as previous offerings carried a mellower musical tone.
