The Overseer – “Scarlet Wool”

It’s been a long wait for fans of The Overseer, but the band released their sophomore album, Rest and Let Go, last week. This hardcore bands delivers a level of artistry rarely seen and Rest and Let Go delivers that art in abundance.

Vocalist Anthony Rivera describes the music of The Overseer;

I’d like to say that the music we write is more than just ‘in the moment,'” says vocalist Anthony Rivera. “We’re looking to write something that stands the test of time, that people can look back on and still enjoy 10 years from now.

If only their video for their single “Scarlet Wool” was equally artistic. It turned out to be a sleeper, but the music is awesome.
